...in the past my anxiety got in the way of the numbing. I would always take a lot more shots and I would clench my jaws together and it was very unpleasant, but today it was great by comparison. I didn't need extra shots and caught myself relaxing during the procedure.

...I have not had any dental work for the last 10 years due to my fear of the dentist. The doctor tried to start two different times and I sat straight up because it all became too much. I couldn’t stop thinking of how long I would have to stay open, how much drilling there would be, what if something hurts, I don’t want to be a bother, and then I would just push his arm away and sit up. The doctor moved me to the room with the button and it was like it all went away. My anxiety went from an 11 to 0 just by holding that button. Just knowing that I can stop the drilling if I need to made me feel comfortable and I didn’t worry anymore. I have to come back next week to finish the work that was scheduled today and this time we are using the button from the beginning. I wish I would have known about this button earlier.

...I definitely want this for all future appointments. Just knowing I could stop at anytime made me feel at ease. I like the button better than the gas. With the button you feel like you are in control. With the gas I feel tingly all over, everything is echoing…but with the button you feel normal but you have control. At another dentist I used to raise my hand for them to stop and they didn’t. They wanted to finish the cavity, and I am sacred at the dentist anyway so this really didn’t help. Even if you don’t use it, having it there makes me feel confident knowing I can use it if something really hurts. It doesn’t make sense to not have this available for people at the dentist.

...it really works ! Before, I wouldn't go to the dentist unless I had a really, really bad problem. But now I have no problem or worries about coming. I won't go to another dentist unless they have it [the Dental Button]

...I didn’t press the button because I never felt any pain. Just knowing that I could stop you and get your attention without jumping was comforting. With the button, I can just press it and it would quit hurting me immediately. Why didn’t you have this a few years ago when I had work done? I absolutely want to use this device for all future appointments.

...I have always used the gas, but I couldn't today because of the cost. I will be using he button from now on. I never needed it. And I am the biggest pansy when it comes to dental work.

...Last time I used the button I thought it was a good idea but I didn’t need it, it was for people who have a lot of fear. But now that I am back for a more work, I definitely want it. I believe it comforts me. There really isn’t any reason not to use something like that for patients.

...the button gives you a claming effect.. The appointment was much better than in the past. I didn't worry as much about it hurting or anything for that matter.

...Felt like I was in control. I definitely want the button for all future appointments, just because if I was in a lot of pain I could shut it off really quick. Couple times it hurt a little but I could handle it knowing I can stop it at anytime. Pain is the thing you fear most at the dental office, and this makes it so much better.

...I hate the drilling. It is what I hate most about going to the dentist. It's good to know I can stop the drilling if the drilling starts to hurt. It is much more relaxing to have the button available.
